                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE DOWNTOWN
                   AREA MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON
                   THURSDAY, APRIL 4, 1991 FROM 9:00 A.M. TO
                   10:00 A.M. FOR THE "DEDICATION OF A FREEDOM
                   SHRINE" UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF BLUE CROSS/
                   BLUE SHIELD OF TENNESSEE AND THE EXCHANGE
                   CLUB, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the northbound parking lane and curb lane of 

       Broad Street between 6th Street and 7th Street and the westbound
       curb lane on the north side of 7th Street between Market Street
       and Broad Street on Thursday, April 4, 1991, from 9:00 a.m. to
       10:00 a.m. for the "Dedication of a Freedom Shrine" under the
       sponsorship of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Tennessee and the
       Exchange Club provided that the sponsors shall set out and pick 
up
       flasher barricades and traffic signs in accordance with the
       traffic control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at all
       times, an access lane for fire and other emergency vehicles.
